Our MOFGA certified organic chickens are free ranging and have continuous access to sunlight, fresh water, and a natural diet of bugs and grasses. We encourage foraging and strive not to over feed grain. Our eggs are high in healthful fatty acids and have beautiful deep orange yolks rich in beta carotene. The genetic diversity within our flock accounts for greatly varying shades and colors of eggshells including brown, white, green and blue. Among many types of chickens, we have brown leghorns, araucanas, and light brahmas.
